अमेरिका में शेरों को हुआ कोरोना [Lions, tigers recovering after COVID infection]

अमेरिका की राजधानी वॉशिंगटन के स्मिथसोनियन नेशनल जू में रहने वाले नौ शेरों और बाघों को पिछले दिनों कोरोना हो गया. वे ना तो अपनी मांद से बाहर आ रहे थे और ना खाना खा रहे थे. चिड़ियाघर ने तुरंत टेस्ट कराए और उनका इलाज शुरू किया गया.

Big cats at the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington, DC are on the mend after all of them caught COVID last week. The Zoo's chief veterinarian explained lions and tigers probably got COVID from an asymptomatic zookeeper, and it spread to the whole big cat population, all nine of them.
