The Biden vaccination requirement for larger enterprises has been temporarily halted by an appeals court.

NEW ORLEANS (CBSNewYork) โ€“ The Biden administration's vaccination requirement for enterprises with 100 or more employees was temporarily suspended by a federal appeals court on Saturday.

The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration's rule that those workers be vaccinated by Jan. 4 or face mask restrictions and weekly testing was given an emergency stay by the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

The measure, according to Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, prevents President Biden from "going on with his unlawful overreach."

The immunization regulations proposed by Biden for 100 million workers are now available. These are the particulars.

"The president will not force medical operations on the American people without the constitutional checks and balances," Landry, a Republican, said in a statement.

At least 27 states have filed lawsuits challenging the rule in multiple circuits, some of which have become more conservative as a result of former President Donald Trump's judge choices. Biden vaccination requirement for larger enterprises has been temporarily halted
